INFOGRAPHIC: What One Dollar Can Buy Travellers Around The World

The world is a weird and wonderful place. In some areas, we’re exposed to 30 minute massages and bottles of wine for just one buck. Where in other countries, one dollar can’t even cover an hour of street parking.

Most Expensive Destinations:

  • England = 2 cigarettes

  • USA= 1 hour of street parking

  • France= 40% of an espresso drink

  • Australia = Lottery Ticket

Least Expensive Destinations:

  • India= Unlimited vegetarian rice meal

  • Nepal= 10 pieces of dumplings and a coke

  • Philippines= 30-45 minutes of a foot massage

  • Vietnam= A hat, 1 DVD or 3 pairs of sandals

This infographic below shows some extreme examples of what $1 can buy you around the world…
