Why we like it: If you’re going to bask in the luxuries of France, sailing should be on your list. Seeing the Mediterranean coastline is a life experience in and of itself.

We Recommend: You can book a daytime or sunset sailing cruise from Cannes here which offers a two-hour long sail starting at $56 USD a person. With several stops to swim and relax in the Mediterranean sea, this sailing tour is a worthwhile addition to your European vacation.

3. Santorini, Greece -The world famous sailing destination

Why we like it: Sail past the red and white beaches from the Vlicha Marina to the ancient lighthouse in Akrotiri. Snorkel, swim, and sunbathe in the famous Greek islands. With locally inspired meals prepared by professional chefs and specialty made drinks, the price will do the experience justice.

Why we like it: Sail off the coast of the Caribbean around some of the most beautiful and sought after islands in the world. With temperatures of 25 degrees year round, the waters are not only warm but stay calm and perfect for sailing throughout the seasons.

Who we recommend: You can pay thousands a day to rent your own, or book a sailing tour with G Adventures. Their 7-day sailing trip departs from Tortola and start at $1400 USD/person. Snorkel, swim, or just bask in the luxury of the ocean meeting the sky.
